Among the many opportunities to hear and appreciate the arts, is this coming weekend's concerts (Oct. 11, 12) by the Idaho/Washington Concert Chorale - some 80 vocalists ranging in ages from 18 to early 80s and dedicated to singing and performing fine, "serious" music. Singers travel for weekly rehearsals from Moscow, Pullman, Lewiston and Clarkston areas and communities beyond.
The October Concerts -  the first of the 2002-03 season, are Friday (11th), 7:30 p.m., in Pullman's Simpson United Methodist Church; and Saturday (12th), 7:30 p.m., in LCSC Auditorium (in the Admin. Bldg.), Lewiston. Tickets are available at the doors* and at some local businesses. More information, see the Chorale web site <www.iwchorale.org>.

*Tickets are cheaper when purchased earlier from any of these vendors:

Book People of Moscow (512 S. Main)
          Neill's Flowers & Gifts in Pullman (E. 234 Main)
The Owl Southway Pharmacy in Lewiston (720 16th Ave)
          Chevron Dyna-Marts in Lewiston (248 Thain Road; 1324 21st)

The concerts are always an experience.
