Re: Media Watch
I am the editor of a small regional (Oregon, Washington & Idaho) paper and
in my short time at the helm I have made quite a few changes to our format.
Our paper has changed from a sleepy little publication to something that
people get down right angry if the postman doesn't deliver it on time. I
feel the key to making a paper successful is giving the readers information
that they aren't going to find elsewhere. Editorials that are inspiring and
reports that make you laugh and cry within moments apart. As long as there
are newspapers out there providing stimulating articles the industry will do
just fine.
