Having 100 students walk out on the president of their
university is so unusual that it should be NEWS.

The incident was at WSU Tuesday, and the Lewiston Trib ran
the story Wednesday with a banner headline at the top of
page 1.

The Wednesday "Daily News" ran the story toward the bottom
of page 1, under the headline "Diversity efforts divide WSU
campus." Only if you read to the fifth paragraph would you
find that 100 protestors walked out on a presentation by the
president.

The "Daily News" seems to wallow ahead on its mission to
make everything dull.
