Re: Considering Moscow as my new Home

Let me be the first to welcome you.  Moscow is a great place.  We have our vocal liberal contingent, along with the vocal christian fundamentalist crew, and a whole bunch of other people who fall in the middle.  Moscow is not as bad as some of those here on Vision2020 would have you think.  Take it from a guy who has spent his whole life in this community.

Subject: Considering Moscow as my new Home

Greetings Moscow Residents,

After watching my property taxes go from $1500 to nearly $3000 in 4 years with definite increases in the near future I have decided to pack my bags and transplant my family.  We visited your fine city last weekend and liked what we saw.  The people that we encountered seemed genuinely friendly both within the city limits and in the surrounding countryside.

It appears that your taxes are reasonable, crime is very low, your schools are well staffed your growth is minimal and your church parking lots are full on Sunday mornings.

What I would like from this group is an assessment on my conceived perception and your opinion on transplanting a family to your community this fall.

Sincerely yours,

David Eagle
