RE: Unidentified subject! --defining our terms
Greetings visionaries:
Tom Hansen stated:
>"Does your citation of His word suggest that Christians are homophobic?"
John Harrell's use of the term appears to be an interpretation of what he
perceives those who use the term homophobic to mean by it.
I wonder if those who use the term, would care to further define the term.
In practice, not merely from the dictionary--what constitutes
homophobic behavior or the condition being a homophobe? Mr. Hansen and Ms.
Huskey (others, perhaps) have both used some form of the word "homophobe"
recently. Could you (or anyone else) elaborate on the meaning?
More to the point of John Harrell's post: Can people hold, as matter of
biblical, religious, moral, or rational (etc), principle, that
homosexuality is
morally wrong, without that person being a homophobe?
Cheers,
David Douglas
