Vandals

Thanks to Brent Capener for being my (thus far) only ally in facing the 
reality of the state of Idaho football.  As he said money, politics and 
influence may well have ended the days of Idaho and BSU playing on an even 
field.  Boise has the population and rabid support (chiefly from people who 
did not graduate from Boise Junior College, but moved to Boise from other 
locales that featured big time programs, and for whom the Broncos are a 
substitute) that we just don't have to support Division 1 status.  Is the U 
or Idaho the superior academic institution?  Yes.  Let's focus on that.  Let 
BSU be a football factory, let us concentrate on academics.                  
                                                                             
                                          I doubt the people in Missoula 
mind being home to a 1-AA program, especially one that dominates that 
division year in and year out.  So could the Vandals, again.  As for Tom 
Hansen's suggestion that I "go back to Boise", I was born and raised in 
Moscow, and remain quite convinced that the Boise State Broncos are the 
devil's spawn.
