Our city council has promised us "selective enforcement" of the indecency
ordinance. Now, it appears, enforcement is coming to pass. (Of course,
after the pool closes!!)
What we need to know is how the MPD will enforce selectively, according to
the dictates of the city council. Will it take a complaint against a
specific person to enforce the ordinance? Will it take an officer observing
someone who fits the "profile"? The city council has dictated selective
enforcement, but not defined selective enforcement. Just what are the
rules to this game anyway?
