Mr. Merkle -

If you are talking about parents who send their children to private schools
and pay their childrens' tuition, this is an obligation incurred as a result
of their choice between a private or public school.  These parents are
simply fulfilling their portion of a "contract" between them and the private
school.  I don't feel it necessary to commend those who simply fulfill their
obligations, but those who go the extra mile (like Joe).
