RE: anonymous postings

If the Daily News processes their letters to the editor in the same manner
as the Spokesman Review, they call up the letter writer to receive that
person's approval to publish that person's letter to the editor. Although
this may serve to verify postings by V2020 subscribers, the time and effort
required to do this staggers the human imagination.

One good suggestion: Require that all subscribers that post to the bulletin
board include their name, city, and state on all postings. If a subscriber
fails to do this, he/she is removed from the list.

Just a suggestion,

Doesn't the Daily News verify letters to the editor? Granted they sometimes
get suckered. Am not so sure its an issue until the mud slinging starts.
And I think the list "owners" are responsible and need to enforce the rule.
