Thanks for verifying this, Mike. Maybe we can now progress to some rational discussions.
I reiterate I am not endorsing either retention or social promotion (two failed practices).
My preference is for a policy which encourages and rewards students for learning, rather than the mind-dulling policies which induce boredom.

A worthy and ongoing goal. When K.C. Albright showed me the plan, I read it and returned my comments to him. But my central conclusion was they are focusing on the leaves without seeing the trees or the forest. Maybe they will prove me wrong.

Quite so, so let us continue our vigilence.

Absolutely true, yet every fifth grader is given the same math text. Does anyone else
see something wrong with this picture?
