"Window on the Universe" events

Two years ago, Moscow was chosen to become a "Window on the Universe"
community by the Challenger Center for Space Science Education. Every year
our community has received resources from the Challenger Center for
Family Science Nights, classroom presentations, and teacher workshops
dealing with space science.

This year, rather than having a single "Window Week" in the spring when all
events are scheduled, there will be several events occurring over several
weeks this spring. Recently, Russian Cosmonaut Pavel Vinogradov and Mission
Control Specialist Alexandre Martynov gave several wonderful presentations
to large audiences
in area schools and at the Kenworthy Performing Arts Center in Moscow.

The next "Window on the Universe" event is happening this Monday night,
March 4, in Pullman. It will be a Family Science Night with lots of science
activities for families. Below are the details of future events, all of
which are free and
open to the public.
