fyi MMG2002

I don't want to get too involved in what is obviously a highly charged
situation for the folks at C.J.s, but I'm going to go out on a limb
here to set a couple things straight....

There will actually be *three* buses running for MMG all night and
yes, they didn't do as good of a job as we would have liked last
year. That was not due to lack of planning on the boards part.
Yes, you need a ticket because they are being paid for with MMG
monies. The board makes new decisions every year and goes with
whatever the majority vote is. I have participated in this event
throughout it's long history of 22 years and there has always been
shuttle service for the event. In most of those years, you did need
a ticket to board.

"CJ's decided this year to arrange a bus for it's event and asked
that Moscow Mardi Gras work together with CJ's to insure most of
the kids get on a bus whether it be to and from CJ's or any other
Venue in town on this night..."
This is the first I've heard of this suggestion. We were only notified
of the separate event in the last couple of weeks. I'm not sure what
happened here. Sounds like we've got a communication
breakdown that we need to get past.

And yes, we did sell lots more tickets last year than any other to
date. That's why the lines at a few venues were hours long. Too
long for those of us that like to get into all of the locations!

The donations granted to date were listed in the Moscow Daily
News just last week and certainly, we'd be more than willing to
provide a list of the balance of the grants for the year.

Sounds like there are a number of misunderstandings that need to
be discussed in further detail outside of this forum. Shelley,
please call or email me and let's get together in person to further
discuss the balance of your concerns.	Thank you.	-Karri
