Mardi Gras

in a recent post by karrim.....

Bus transportation will be provided between event locations and to
and from Pullman for the duration of the evening.  You'll need a
Moscow Mardi Gras ticket to ride the bus.  Tickets are $10 in advance
and $15 at the door and will be available at all sponsoring locations and
at the daytime events.  Tickets will admit you to all of the
locations  OR…

CJ's was in touch with a Mardi Gras representative regarding last years horrible bus situation. CJ's decided this year to arrange a bus for it's event and asked that Moscow Mardi Gras work together with CJ's to insure most of the kids get on a bus whether it be to and from CJ's or any other Venue in town on this night. Well, you can see as stated in the above post...........Moscow Mardi Gras has EXCLUDED people getting on THEIR bus who do not have a ticket to THEIR event. This saddens me as I have made it clear that ANYONE who needs a ride can get on my bus. They do not need a ticket.  I would hope Moscow Mardi Gras would do the same for the safety of those who chose to drink. Here is another example why CJ's cannot work with the present Moscow Mardi Gras committee. Where is the care and concern for the community?

and there is more.............I would like to see here on this community board a list of where the $20,000.00 is going! Also, how come in the past 22 years there has NEVER been a donation of over $9,000.00 and this last year $20,000.00? The last few years the streets have been just as busy. Hmmmmmmmm.
