"Today's Papers" is a summary of the way the national
newspapers handle each morning's news, available free
from "Slate," a service of Microsoft. (When Microsoft's
monopoly practices were themselves on the front pages,
"Slate" seemed to do an objective job of reporting.)

I mention all this not to praise or blame "Today's
Papers" but to share the beginning of today's posting:

>>>By Joshua Foer

>>>The Washington Post leads with more sable rattling on the Indian
>>>subcontinent.

Sounds like a difficult feat, and cruelty to animals?
