Conspiracy or real diversity?

Visionaries,
The use of the term "conspiracy" in connection with
the formation of private schools, a K-12 school system
and a new college in Moscow.

I'd never thought such pursuits were illegal or
sinister as the term "conspiracy" clearly suggests.
In fact, quite the opposite is true. Logos has turned
out high school graduates that are National Merit
Scholars and St. Mary's School students routinely rank
in the top 10% nationally on standardized test scores.

As another post-er mentioned, the remedy for those who
disagree with a religious component to education is
to: 1. Not send their children to these schools; and
2. To work to improve the public schools they
presumably do approve of.

The same goes for political involvement. The fact that
a group of people may organize to promote their own
political views is healthy. This means political
dialogue and debate is expanded and that people of a
variety of viewpoints must become involved or see
changes to the community that they disagree with.
This process strengthens political institutions and
sometimes(gasp)actually provides a clear choice to
voters.

Is Moscow truly a community that celebrates
"diversity?" If so, we must welcome political debate
and respect the rights of everyone to express their
views and organize their own institutions, not just
those we happen to agree with.
