Magazine Debut Planned at BookPeople


The premier issue of MaryJanesFarm, a new magazine published in Moscow,
will debut at a reception at BookPeople on Thursday, December 13, from
5pm to 7pm.  Mary Jane Butters, creator and publisher of the magazine,
will serve free jonnycakes with honey, butter and jam at the event.
Copies of the 116-page, full-color magazine will be available at the
reception.  BookPeople is located in downtown Moscow at 521 South Main
Street.
Butters describes MaryJanesFarm as a “storefront magazine” that is both
a women’s magazine and organic foods catalog.  The magazine includes
news, articles, and suggestions she summarizes as “simple solutions for
organic living” as well as a listing of the 60 organic prepared
foods—from salsas and soups to complete entrees—that are produced by her
company at Moscow.
