Re: anyone there?

I have a great solution for this....if you have an answering machine.  Record the out of service tones ( the do da de sounds) at the beginning of your message, continue with your message. This tone can be found on the Internet. Be sure to tell your family and friends, they'll think you don't pay your bills. When these annoying telemarketer computers connect with your machine they detect an out of service number, your number is removed as a not in service number. They don't want to waste time calling numbers that are not in service. This telemartketer avoidance measure was suggested in Poplar Electronics.  It works with telemarketers that use computers to dial.....if its a real person you just have to be  rude.  I think it has helped.  I resent having to pay the $10 to be on the "no call list".  The telemarketer should have to pay $10 to call!!!!
