Just in case you all did not receive my fax from last week.  Please run 
this ASAP as all candidates must secure at least 40 valid registered 
voters' signatures in order to submit their declaration of candidacy:


Declarations of candidacy for the office of Mayor, and for the office of 
Council Member of the City of Moscow may be filed with the City Clerk, 206 
East 3rd Street, PO Box 9203, Moscow, Idaho, 83843, beginning Friday, 
September 7, 2001.  The last day to file such declaration of candidacy is 
Thursday, September 27, 2001.  Petitions of Nomination and Declaration of 
Candidacy forms are available at the City Clerk's Office, 206 East 3rd 
Street, Third Floor, Moscow, Idaho, 83843.

Individuals who wish to run as write-in candidates must file a declaration 
of intent not later than 14 days before the day of election, or not later 
than 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2001.  The City Election will be held 
Tuesday, November 6, 2001.  For more information, call the City Clerk's
