RE: Campus parking

The parking revision process has been underway since January 2000. Studies
and opinion surveys were available last year on the Parking Web site. The
recommendations were publicly announced and debated on campus last Spring.

Studies showed that at no time were all lots full. In my experience,
there's always space in the Sweet Avenue and Kibbe Dome lots. Of course,
everyone wants to park in the central lots, and that's where they waste time
looking.

Long-term plans are to move all parking to lots on the campus periphery.
