RE: Skate Park
I drove by the skate park the other day, and yes, I did see some wild
and unruly
hair, I did see some loose, unkempt, "skater" clothing and I did see a
group of
males and females off to the side in what appeared to be flirtatious
behaviors.
I can imagine this might be frightening to some parents..
I also saw kids having fun and expressing themselves through their
personal
styles, they were taking turns, teaching each other skills, letting
smaller kids
take a second turn. Not all were so admirably behaved, but most were.
I think we find joy where we look for it.
