COMMISSIONERS PROCEEDINGS
Week of January 3, 2001
Commissioners Loreca J. Stauber and Paul J. Kimmell met in regular session
on Wednesday, January 3, 2000; the following actions were taken:
Approved, signed and filed the Commissioners’ Proceedings for the week of
December 27, 2000.
Signed and filed the Financial Statement of the Latah County Historical
Society, Inc., for the year ending December 31, 1999.
Signed and filed the Fee Report for period of November 1 to November 20,
2000, Clerk/Auditor/Recorder.
By Motion and Order, authorized the Chair’s signature on the Obligating
Document Award/Amendment, Bureau of Disaster Services Form 76-10, for the
year-end funds of FY 2000. Agreement No. EMS-2000-GR-3031 is amended to
$14,083.00, total current award.
By Motion and Order, ratified the action taken on December 27, 2000: the
Renewal of a Retail Alcohol Beverage License, Janice M. Ahles dba Country
Gas Mart, 3470 Highway 6, Princeton.
By Motion and Order, amended the proceedings of September 11, 2000,
correcting the spelling of Byron Hansen to Byron Hanson.
By Motion and Order, amended the proceedings of October 20, 2000, correcting
the spelling of Christiansen to Christensen.
Approved, signed and filed the Request for Tuition Aid to North Idaho
College by Jonathan McAleer.
Convened in Executive Session at 11:35 AM on January 3, 2001, to discuss
Personnel Matters; pursuant to Idaho Code Section 67-2345 (1)(a)&(b).
Adjourned at 12:10 PM.
By Motion and Order, approved the Chair’s signature on a letter to the
Capital Crimes Defense Fund requesting reimbursement for expenses incurred
for the defense of Case NO. CR-00-00260, State of Idaho vs. Dale Carter
Shackelford from August 18, 2000 through January 3, 2001. The total
expenses incurred to date being $362,516.78. The County acknowledges
previous receipt of a reimbursement check in the amount of $81,716.28 and
that $10,000 is the county deductible, leaving a balance to be requested for
reimbursement in the amount of $270,800.50.
Convened in Executive Session at 3:30 P.M. on January 3, 2001, to discuss
Indigent matters, pursuant to Idaho Code Section 67-2345 (1)(d). Adjourned
at 4:08 P.M. Twelve cases approved, two cases denied.
By Motion and Order, authorized the Chair’s signature on the Application and
Certificate For Payment and the Certificate of Substantial Completion on the
Latah Health Services Sanitary Sewer Relocation Project No. 2100-03-00.
Payment approved in the amount of $23,780.87.
All documents are available for inspection in the office of the
Clerk/Auditor/Recorder.
