I don't think this has any resemblance to any situation I heard of.  The 
situation I reported was a young woman who wanted to trade her first ballot 
(which would then be invalidated) for a second ballot, so she would only 
have (and submit) one valid ballot.  This is SOP at polling places around 
the nation.

I think the Florida state courts will have to decide whether the time has 
passed to challenge the ballot format.
