vote swapping rant

My 20 Wan worth:

I find the whole concept of vote swapping to be disturbing at best.
Repulsive perhaps.  If this isn't a way to abuse the whole voting system, I
don't know what is.  It is nothing short of prostituting your vote to
someone else.  I have voted for candidates that I knew were going to lose.
I still voted for them.  Call me stupid, but anything less of doing that
would have been wrong.  There is no gray middle ground here.
