Re: mauled mall



Sorry Jerry, but you're the one who is out to lunch on this one.
The Mall removed more than a few sticks and twigs--the crew ripped out dozens of
beautiful mature shrubs and small flowering plum trees.   With the sterile
environment that destruction created, the view is now of trimmed evergreens and
chips, and of course, automobiles, asphalt, and a shopping center building in
all its California strip mall loveliness.
Besides the obvious violation of city ordinance, this destruction makes the
town's entrance area much less attractive.
