Aquifer Committee April Meeting

The agenda for the April 20 meeting of the Palouse Basin Aquifer 
Committee appears below. 

 Draft minutes from the March meeting can be found at 
    http://www.uidaho.edu/pbac/minutes00/Mar00.htm.  One of the 
    highlights of last month's meeting was the Committee passing 
    a goal to stabilize the water levels in the Grande Ronde 
    aquifer (the primary source of public water) within 20 years.  A 
timeline and a financial plan for implementation of this goal will be 
discussed at the April 20 meeting.

May 7-13, 2000.  There will be a presentation on the groundwater 
supplies of the Palouse on Tuesday, May 2, 2000 at 7:30 pm at 
the Moscow Community Center, sponsored by the local chapter of 
the Sierra Club and PCEI.
