Re: nettiquite

As a non-student and non-subscriber to the Daily New I found the information very interesting. It is a serious breach, however.

Gina, since I am not yet a subscriber to Vision 2020, I would like to ask you to forward this message to their list in order to clear up this little misunderstanding.                                     Thanks, Rick

A situation has come to my attention that must be addressed post-haste.I would like to apologize to the subscribers of Vision 2020 in reference to my opinions expressed on the UI computer situation. (even though I never sent them to you). I stand by my opinions, but they were in no way meant to be transmitted to "the general public" IE: VISION 2020. These messages were intended for the Geo-Cart mailing list only. There has been a serious breach of nettiquite in that another person ( with apparently nothing better to do) has posted my Geo-Cart message threads to your list without my express permission. It is unfortunate that some people become so enthralled with new technology and the interactive forum it provides, that they fail to take the time to learn and adhere to its common standards, conventions, as well as the responsibilties that go along with it.  I have now had to subscribe in order to clarify my position,  and apparently, to make sure that I am not mis-represented or misquoted in any way.    Again, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you; the VISION 2020  list-serv subcribers.                                                                 Sincerely,                                                                                Rick Lovel
