Does anyone know how to responsibly dispose of a dead computer monitor? I
understand they cannot just be dumped in the dump because they have lead
that might leak out. Will they be accepted on Hazardous Waste Day? any
other way to get rid of them?
And...did anyone else see the northern lights last night? It was my first
observation. The horizon to the northeast looked as bright as though there
were a small town illuminating it--much brighter than the horizon on the
west where the lights of Moscow light up the sky. There were occasional
color changes and beams of light. I understand this was due to a Major
Event in the atmosphere and that there have been sightings down the
Atlantic coast and into Ohio and West Virginia. Could be more action
tonight!
