Re: Health forum Monday in Pullman
Dear Fellow Visionaries,
My name is Maureen Gray (Cullen is my maiden name) and I am the Chief
Nursing Officer at Gritman Medical Center. I have just returned from
attending this health care forum. It was interesting and informative, but
would have been more appropriately
named "Health Care in Whitman County" as there were no Latah County agencies
represented on the forum. So, to address the issue of why Gritman was not on
the panel: we were not invited. I believe the intent of the forum was to
address health care in Whitman County, which the panel did, very well. The
forum was taped and will be televised on channel 11 both Tuesday and
Wednesday night. Additionally, copies of the tape may be obtained at the
Pullman Chamber of Commerce.
This forum was very enlightening regarding health care offerings in
Whitman County.....I certainly am now more aware of what they have to offer
and see many opportunities for collaborative efforts between our
communities. I propose we offer a similar forum in Latah County to educate
our communities on their health care options in this area as well as address
areas of concern for Latah County residents. Please e-mail me at my work
address: egraym@gritman.org with your thoughts on this subject.
Thank you,
Maureen Gray
