road rage

considering all the messages about drivers & roads in our state, i think
it's interesting to note that idaho ranks 9th in the nation for
"aggressive driving death rates" (deaths per 100,000 people), according
to the surface transportation policy project.   the article concerning
this was published by southern exposure (summer, 1999) and reprinted in
utne reader (jan-feb, 2000).

in case you wonder what states had the greatest rage on the road, the
top 10 were, in order:  south carolina, wyoming, alabama, kansas,
oklahoma, new mexico, north carolina, arkansas, idaho and florida.
