Losing a friend

Was sad to read in the Daily News about the demise of another local, family
owned business.  It is too bad that national name recognition takes priority
over years of hard work and dedication to community.  Members of local
service groups will long remember the name "Tater's as the place where they
could hold their meetings in the back room.  I for one have many good
memories of the year spent as president of the now defunct Star Garnet
Lioness Club.  Thank you, Clayton, for always making our group welcome in
your establishment.
