RE: Interstate 95

I too would disagree with the need/desire for an interstate. imporvements
have been made. what was a comfortable 8 hour drive Emmett->Moscow in 1964
is now a comfortable 5 hour drive (well 5.5hr:) there have been major
improvements with only a few weak links left. I don't go down through
mcall/banks any more b/c of the boise traffic. that will have to be dealt
with, and I think they're are going to bring it through indian valley, but
in general, a 4 lane interstate would be a big mistake!!!!

as to the air link moscow<->boise; that disappeared some years ago. thank
the monopoly of horizon air....i do find lewston air port to be more
predictably available, if not convient, for arrival/departure anyway.

johnt

(p.s. dealing with the chip trucks would be be a major saftey step
forward!!)

I agree with you Bill, and thanks for bringing this to
our attention!
Safety improvements--of course--but an interstate is a
bad idea for the reasons already mentioned.

I've never understood why Democrats seem to believe
they'll improve their chances by taking GOP-type
positions on so many issues.
This is the sort of thing that makes so many people
decide to stay home on election day.
