Re: more on local businesses

When we think about local business, consider Health Care providers in
the big picture.  Remember, health care is a consumer item, just as any
other service we pay for.  As a community we are consumers for our
hospital, medical clinics, alternative care and health insurance;  and
must exercise some responsibility for voicing what it is we (you and I )
want from such services, either publicly, or individually when we tell
our provider what it is we want for our health care needs.
In terms of vision for promoting wellness in our community, I'd like to
mention Heidi Crouch, Family Nurse Practitioner, who has, through
Gritman Medical Center established and maintains clinics in Potlach,
Kendrick, Genessee, Palouse and Elk River.  She has truely taken her
services to the people who need them!
