Perhaps the reason for the demise of these 2 local eateries is the same:
the new chair restaurants nearby (Appleby's near Treaty Grounds and Wingers 
by Bagels).
At least I recall hearing the Treaty Grounds folks blaming Appleby's for 
their lost revenue.
