A very plausible conclusion, but we citizens don't know what if any
strategy actually exists for the tech park. One could also point to
buildings and space closer in to town that could, if retrofitted, serve
as well and maybe better the needs of certain kinds of enterprise.
Downtown parking, truck access, etc. are other variables in the planning
process. But it remains factual that the community has been pretty much
left out of the loop. Is there an overall plan for community development,
for involving adjacent rural areas and small towns needing employment?
Other folks in addition to the insiders sometimes have some ideas and
resources that may be overlooked. This isn't a case of throwing rocks at
those who've been involved, but it is a legitimate concern that we be
better informed about what's going on. I have a couple of my own stories
on that. How about a town meeting? Ken M.
