Regarding Alturas Park.  Why, when high tech start-ups are attracting
venture capital and are touted to be such a good investment, don't private
investors fund these businesses?  Are public funds being used to fund
businesses that really aren't valued by investors or consumers just to
create an appearance of success?

I'm with Bill on this one.  We would have been better served to install
this business park downtown rather than contribute to sprawl, and Johnny
Walker doesn't need subsidized housing.
