I wonder if the Moscow Co-op would be willing to make an investment in 
this area, with some subsidy perhaps from either a govt'l or 
philanthropic source? When most all Federal supports for alterntive fuels 
were cut during the Reagan Administration, there's been little activity 
for the past 15 years. Guess the wells will have to go dry before public 
policy shifts on this. But in CA the electric car option is growing, esp. 
in downtown service routes. I've so little experience, my 'advice' is 
pretty thin! Thanks for the idea.  Ken
