I believe Vera White is right. The mayor should
appoint Mr. Ament. A candidate with demonstrated
support in the community is always preferable to one
that is just someone's political ally.
I urge Mayor Comstock to follow the precedent
established when Linda Pall was appointed.
Mr. Ament is the best and most logical candidate for
the open seat.
