Chipman Trail travelers

November 7, 2:30 -- 3:00 pm
Riding east to west
I counted 88 fellow travelers.
They walked, ran, bladed and rode.
A few lucky ones bounced along in lovely backpacks.
Touring bikes, mountain bikes,
eight little bikes with training wheels.
One patient father pushed his son on a big wheel.
Some strolled, some marched, and not according to age.
Scalliwags looked for mischief.
Grandmas kept their eyes out.
A couple walked arm in arm,
and snuck a kiss or two.
My favorite was a little clown,
who munched a yummy cheese sandwich.
I don't think he made it very far.
