Candidate Endorsements

As a new subscriber to Vision2020, I am still forming an opinion about how to use this medium as a citizen and as an elected official.  If you read the mission statement on the Vision2020 home page, you get the impression that growth and development issues are supposed to be the primary focus of the discussion.  Based upon my review of the archives and the recent posting, this really is more like a "soap box" where most any topic can be addressed.  If it is to be a open forum, then I think any topic including political endorsements are fair game.  Maybe the mission statement should be changed?
