I was in DC this summer and was very taken with the National Law Enforcement
Monument:  hundreds of handguns welded into a giant plowshare. Given the
dearth of public art in town, and the (apparent) need to make some sort of
public statement about handguns, maybe we can follow the lead of the first
City.
