Tell me there is no agenda behind these lawsuits. And how the heck can you
irresponsibly manufacture a firearm? These suits claim a few things:
one--the fireams is a faulty piece of equipment. Somehow, if I point a gun
at someone and pull the trigger and that person is harmed, then in no way
was the firarm faulty or was there any negligence in the manufacture of it.
It performed just how I wanted it to.
second--Firearms are a medical ailment or disease. This way, there should
be money made available to stop this evil 'plague' upon our society.
Firearms are not a disease. They are a collection of metal/polymer/wood
pieces that can be used for bad or good. In fact, more criminal actions
are stopped by civilian use of firearms than are stopped by police use.
And a LOT less people get mistakenly shot by the civilian defender than the
police. Using the medical argument that is so popular today, it appears
from the evidence that it is a cure that should be funded--not litigated by
some people that are using it as a tactic because they can't use the
established legislative methods to force their will upon others.
