Re: Kamiak Butte



Folks we only have ourselves to blame (or credit) for this latest civil
engineering maneuver:  All our complaining about the high gasoline prices on
the Palouse has finally found sympathetic ears.  Olympic Pipeline Co. (the
folks who brought western Washington the recent explosion) have started work
on the Palouse Diversion--a direct line to the high capacity refineries at
Anacortes.  Since Washington State Parks denied them access to state lands,
Whitman County stepped in.  Now that's what I call neighborly.
