I recall a event only a few years ago, we had some fairly major 
flooding going on here in Moscow, we knew the situation in Pullman, 
Colfax, Spokane, Lewiston, but not a word about what was 
happening in Moscow (I seem to recall that we got pretty good 
coverage of some local basketball game though, and nothing else.)

let us be honest, we are NOT well covered by our local media.
