1. Approval of Minutes of July 19, 1999
2. Transfer of Control of TV Cable Franchise from Century Communications
Corporation to Adelphia Communications - Randy Fife
Adelphia Communications Corp is buying Century Communications and its
assets which include Pullman Cable TV Company, Inc. (the City's cable
television franchise holder). Transfer requires the City's approval
following review of the transfer and related issues.
ACTION: Direct City staff to complete review and make recommendation
regarding transfer.
3. Memorandum of Understanding for Feasibility Study for Regional E-911 -
Gary J. Riedner
Whitman County Commissioners drafted a Memorandum of Understanding to send
to Washington State to request assistance for a feasibility study to
explore counties and cities in our area joining together to implement a
regional enhanced 911 dispatch system.
ACTION: Recommend City participation.
