Re: new development planned

Yes, I agree that there is a very good chance that this 51 acre development 
will stand empty for a long time, and that bankruptcy (and the even longer 
times that involves) are a possibility.
However, consider the massive ugliness and the erosion of that huge 
earth-moving project (lowering the hills by 30 feet and filling up a valley 
to form a pad for the super-store).  If we can avoid that by setting 
realistic requirements for development, access, and erosion control NOW 
before the tops of the hills are chopped off, we will be much better off.
