Aieee, Sisyphus, we saw you then!
I fear any attempt to improve Moscow's entrances is doomed by the varying
tastes of what looks pleasing to individual owners.
Alternative suggestion: let's exert a little pressure on homeowners to
provide better sidewalk accessibility. As I walk around town, I often
encounter overgrown bushes and voluptuous shrubbery which forces me off
the sidewalk. A former DN editor ignored direct requests to trim his
huge shrubs on D street, and a current city council member could help
Russell school kids and drivers by improving visibility at a corner.
Of course, I'd hate to have someone white-glove my garage, but I do try to
keep leaves raked and walks shoveled.
