I'm sure there are others with a better memory than mine, but I thought the
Wren House lot was cleared so the the highway department could use that
area for a smoother curve for HY 95 onto Washington Street. The time of its
closing coincided with the highway development to one-way streets and
discussions for couplets. Apparently, that hasn't happened.
