Lois, being a MHS graduate of '78 I have strong fond memories of those
days to include the Senior Kegger. However, the risks we imposed on
ourselves not to mention others makes your post is right on-target. We
did not have the distractions that could have kept us from indulging in
what really were self-destructive activities. Underage drinkig (mostly
on the weekends) was rampant in those days and I'm quite sure probably
still is. We did have the youth center down by the junior high school
but I don't have a lot of recollection of it being used much. The idea
of having a central recreational location with all of the amenities to
hold the attention of the youth in Moscow is a good one. Of course,
there will always be that human desire to experiment with what is
forbidden. Cheers.
