Letter to the Daily News Editor
On an early morning walk today, I visited the Carol Ryrie Brink Nature
Park, developed by the Palouse Clearwater Environmental Institute. The
many trees, grasses, and shrubs planted over the last few years have begun
taking hold, hinting at what a delightful place the park will be in the
future. I would like to thank PCEI for its vision and perseverance in
creating such a fine space for our community. The organization’s generous
spirit helps make Moscow a wonderful place to live.
I encourage PCEI and the City of Moscow to work together as the new playing
fields and water diversion projects south of the park take shape. It is in
everyone’s interest, both fiscally and environmentally, that efforts by the
two entities are mutually supportive rather than conflicting.
