It was a comment I saw on the evening news (here in Boise) regarding
the twenty or so pages he had drafted in support of the dog sniffing.

It bothers me that the government tries to regulate drugs at all.  In
this forum I've only wanted to say that I don't find the dog sniffing
inconsistent with forms of surveillance that we already accept.  In
fact, it seems less obtrusive than some.  Whatever the case, I think
time will tell on this one.  Thank you for sharing your views with me.
